How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

A Powertrail of caches placed on Nelson Creek Rd consisting of 52 traditional card caches and 4 Bonuses.

The title of the series was insipred by Kenny Rogers song we all know so well... The Gambler.
But as it is true in Geocaching aswell you gotta know when to fold 'em, cos you could be looking for something thats just not there.

All caches are park & grabs and will be on the left when starting here.
Note: Due to 3ofHearts hiding placed being consistantly removed we moved it to the other side of the road.

There is room to pull over in the grass on the road verge. We have tried to hide the caches out of view of the residents but please use stealth if the farmers are out working in their paddock.

They are all the same type of container and most are uncomed. You should be able to find most of these very easily without GPS or clue but we have switched a few up just to keep you on your toes.

While your going through the series you will want to keep track of any cards that may hold a number for the 4 Bonus caches. (one Bonus for each suit)
Each suit holds the numbers for its own Bonus suit. (eg) Any numbers you find in the hearts will only be for the Hearts Bonus.
I have also made up an easy to print sheet for you to keep track of any numbers you find.

This powertrail will of course be alot easier by bike. Or if your driving solo, maybe ask a buddy to come along for the ride and be your driver.
Be safe, Happy Caching and Have fun collecting those numbers.
Remember if your not having fun, your not doing it right
