Recently I took another load of clothing to the Goodwill and the same old man I had met before was there in the truck. Once again he was listening to some bouncy music and tapping his toes. I could overhear it just barely leaking from his earbuds. He was assembling a model of Noah's Ark as he listened.
"You again!" he exclaimed. "Are you here with another bag of rags just to get a tax deduction?"
"This is all good quality stuff," I protested lamely. "I see you've changed your musical taste."
"Not at all. I told you before how eclectic my tastes were. Don't you go stereotypin' me! I like all kinds of music."
"Right. Okay, well how about my tax receipt."
"Not so fast. You gotta play word association again. Remember, just like before, the left half is a word or partial word and you have to complete the word or phrase. This time some of them are names or partial names, too."
"Oh no," I groaned, but I played it and have to admit it was fun. This time I had my smart phone with me and I could look some stuff up on the web. Wikipedia was my friend.
