This is the usual fantastic South-Transdanubian Regional Cachers' Meeting (DDRKT) held twice a year. Regional only in its name! Over a hundred geocachers participate each time and it is great fun!
All are welcome from far and wide!
Good hike, competition, chance to meet others, exchange TBs, learn more about your GPS and geocaching! Fun for newbies and pros, old and young! An event not to be missed!

Where?
The event is held in Cseresznyéspuszta, Tolna county, 7 km NW of Paks, an easy drive from M6 or route 6.
The Base is at Cseresznyéskert Erdei Iskola (Cherry Garden Forest School).
When?
It lasts from the afternoon of Friday, December 13th till Sunday, December 15th.
What exactly?
On Friday, December 13th: Before-party at the Base
A stew will be prepared in a kettle on open fire in the garden of the Base Enjoy the stew, have fun, and meet fellow geocachers! Expect the food to be ready by about 6 pm, you are welcome to show up any time after 3 pm.
Please, make sure you let us now how many of you are coming on Friday so there is enough food for everyone!
ATTENTION: The event is outdoors, wear several layers of cloths! Though the ice-tea will keep you warm inside, it may be cold outside!
On Saturday, December 14th: The main event
You will have a competition with a great hike or you may just stay at the Base and catch up with your geocacher friends.
From 9:00 am: Registration, start of the competition
The competition will be near the Base. Stages to be found will be placed within a 2.5 km radius. Coordinates will be uploaded to your GPS at the time of registration on site.
About 1 pm - 3 pm: Lunch
Bring your own or enjoy a nice warm meal prepared on-site.
About 3 pm: Return to the Base, end of the competition.
About 3:30 pm: announcement of the results
Optional program for Sunday, December 15th

Cost
The registration fee for the competition on Saturday is 1,000 Ft/team.
If you arrive with a child who is under 14, a Santa Claus gift pack will be provided for him/her free of charge. If more Santa gifts are needed, each additional costs 250 Ft. Please, let us know how many you need.
If you wear a T-shirt from any previous DDRKT event, you get 25% off the registration fee!
Dinner on Friday: free.
Lunch on Saturday: 1,300 Ft/person. Please, write in your log how many your team needs!
Deadline for registration: December 12th, Thursday.
You are welcome even if you arrive unregistered, but you may not be able to get lunch.
Accommodation
Suggested accommodation is at the Base
There are 4 rooms available, with 8 beds (4 bunk beds) each.
Separate bathrooms for men, women, and handicapped are in the hallway.
Price: 1,800 Ft /person/night.
Bedding: 350 Ft /person or bring you own sleeping bag or bedding.
Please, let us know in your "Will Attend" log if you require accommodation. Beds will be given out on a first reserve, first serve basis, so, please register early.
You will be informed by mail about the status of your registration.
