Geocache Description:

Welcome! to our 2nd Annual Holiday Bash.December 15TH

Poodlechic will be there this year she has that Mean Ole Grinch locked up!

BUT don’t be surprised if Poodle has a new surprise!

Let's join together and celebration of this year’s great events, caching stories.

Bring any Trackables you want to get discovered and discover from others!

Bring your Pathtags and Trading cards to trade as well!

We invite all the local cachers and the ones from afar, for a friendly holiday gathering.

This event will take place at the Airport Way Pizza Hut from 2pm to 5pm.
We will be visited by a surprise guest to host The Gift Exchange, which will begin around 3:30.
Your gift towards the exchange should be under $10, handmade gifts are welcome!!

Put some thought in to this one and it should be a blast.

How the game is played:

The game is fun, because each person gets to select a wrapped gift, unwrap it and then possibly lose it to someone else and have to select again. You can select from the unwrapped gifts or you can steal it.. “By stealing” a gift someone is holding, this is what makes this game so much fun.

Here are the rules:

You may participate in the gift exchange either on your own or with your geocaching partner or family.

EXAMPLE:
"Team I Got it First", is a family group, but they are more than welcome to have one gift for each of them so they don't have to share (because they're not good at sharing anyways ). Some of the geocaching user's may be a family of 2 or 3 kids, so mom and dad could go individually or one for themselves and each of the kids.
Just as long as there is a gift per person actually participating.

Everyone who wants to play the game must bring a gift. (Suggested price range for gifts is 10 dollars) All gifts must be wrapped (and may I suggest you make yours look extra special). We will put the gifts all together.  Each person selects a number from a bowl to determine the order in which a person gets to select a gift.
DO NOT PUT YOUR NAME ON THE GIFT!

A gift is only required to play the game, not to attend the event

Number 1 goes first and gets to select and unwraps a gift. Everyone oohs and aahs or mentally thinks, “Boy, I’m glad I didn’t select that.”

Number 2 then selects. But they may take Number 1’s gift or they may select a gift from the pile. If they takes Number 1’s gift, Number 1 gets to select again from the pile. After he/ or she has finished there turn, Number 3 gets to select.

Once again, he or she may select any opened or unopened gift. Each time a gift is taken away from someone, that person gets to select again. They may select any gift except the one that was just taken away from her. They may however, have the opportunity to select it again later.

Some gifts are occasionally more popular and may get stolen several times. The Third person to possess it gets to keep it. No more Grinch Stealing of the gift. The gift is frozen.
At the end of the game, Number 1 gets to select again, and take someone else’s gift if They wants to, but doesn’t have to.  The only gifts he or she can’t take are those that are not frozen.

This Pizza Party will hold plenty of people and be equipped with plenty of tables and chairs so you will not need to bring either.

This is a family event with kids as well so keep gifts appropriate please.  No outside food or beverages please. You may order off the menu, at your expense, if desired,  4 large pizzas will be provided, soda & water will be available at your expense.
