Geocache Description:

Old Hills to Madresfield Series (OHMS) is a 5 mile circular walk over undulating terrain crossing common, arable and pasture land with one steep descent. There are two very short sections along a minor road so please take care especially with children and dogs.There are a few stiles to cross most of which are not dog friendly.

At the time of placing the series the ground was very muddy in places. No cattle were seen on the route but some fields contained sheep and there were a few horses.

There are 26 caches with a mixture of difficulty levels to suit novices and more experienced cachers alike. You are recommended to do the series in numerical order as there are 2 multis on the route. A variety of containers have been used with swaps and FTF Certificates being included where the size allows. You will need to bring your own pen and tweezers for some of the caches.

The route takes you past Elm Bank Trig Point. You may also wish to visit the following nearby caches;

GCNB3F  As Old as the Hills! (Worcs)

GC4NC4H  Beware of the Tunnel Spider

GC4MEQQ Just Swing Into It

The route follows public footpaths, including a section of the Three Choirs Way, and instructions have been included, based on walking in a clockwise direction, where this may be helpful.

A parking waypoint has been given where there is space for several vehicles.
