Per tal de subministrar aigua viva al veïnat, l’any 1789 es va construir la primera font del Camí Fondo que va incorporar, en la seva part superior, la capella del Sant Crist d’en Fogueres del Torrent que, a inicis del segle XVII ja existia a l’indret.
Aquesta primera font perdurà fins a l’any 1948, quan fou substituïda totalment. L’actual font del Camí Fondo i la capella del Sant Crist d’en Fogueres del Torrent han estat restaurades durant l’any 1997.

In order to supply water to residents, in the year 1789 it was built the first source in Camí Fondo. In its upper part, it incorporated the chapel of Sant Crist of Fogueres, that it already existed on this site at the beginning of the seventeenth century.
The first source lasted until 1948, when it was replaced entirely. The current source and the chapel of Sant Crist of Fogueres, have been restored during 1997.
