Geocache Description:

The church of St. Feoca is a building of stone in the Perpendicular style, consisting of chancel, nave of five bays, aisles, north transept, south porch and a detached western tower, with a pyramidal roof, containing 3 bells: the chancel, separated from the nave by a low screen of alabaster, has a reredos of freestone, alabaster and gold, and coloured mosaic: the east and south windows in the chancel and the east window of the south aisle are stained: the monuments are modern.
The church was almost entirely rebuilt about 1874, and has 346 sittings. It is said to have been the last church in which divine service was conducted in the Cornish language; the south entrance to the churchyard is through a lynch gate, and over it is a room where parish meetings were formerly held.
A lynch gate of granite and oak was erected in 1893 to the memory of the Rev. Thomas Phillpotts M.A. for 30 years vicar of this parish (1844-74) and hon. canon of Truro, to whom there is also a brass tablet in the north aisle, erected by his widow, in 1890. The register dates from the year 1681.
