Mull: Aros Park Mossy Rocks
A bit of a walk on the wild side
The loch that is a key feature of Aros Park is encircled by a fine path, one that allows an enjoyable circuit of the lake. Geocachers will find a few caches around it, but, unseen from below, a somewhat higher, and much narrower path, amusingly called the Pram Path - don't even think it! - wanders along above steep slopes that can do you mischief if you fall. Enter from the sharp first right of the scramble net , where there is sign of once removed steps, and due to a land slide beyond please return the way you came.
Along the path, you encounter a beautiful gathering of moss-covered rocks, quite an enchanting place, and one that teases, if you come in search of a geocache.
Please do not rip up large clumps of moss trying to find this cache. Use your eyes before you use your hands.
