First there was A "Walk in the Buff". Now there is "A Walk on the Wild Side!"
November 2014: The farmer decided to remove all the hedge between 4 and 13 resulting in a lack of natural camo for some caches (and their destruction). I have replaced as best as I can. Some may be considerably harder come the spring. This one used to be at the base of a dog rose bush.
This walk consists of 40 caches spread over five miles. There are some mild slopes on this walk and the ground can get a little muddy after lots of rain.
The footpaths and bridleways are mostly good farm tracks although there are some field margins and a 20m stretch of road walking on a quiet country road near Ross' cache at the start/end of the walk.
The walk includes Ross' "Main Street" cache and "Trigtastic #2" and a few others are a short detour away.
The only livestock on route are sheep between #38 and the end of the walk.
There is very limited parking near the start of the walk or you could park in the lay-by near "GC3JYZM - Signs of a Bygone Era" and head north up Baulk Lane.
