Lochaline View
View from a forest trail
On a forestry trail that links with Garmony Point to the south, and Fishnish Point further north, this intermediate cache is placed at a fine point where a view opens up of Lochaline across the Sound of Mull...there's even a convenient bench nearby from which to enjoy the view.
The complete walk continues to Fishnish, where ferries depart for Lochaline, crossing the ferry road and continuing through woodland beyond.
The cache is located close to the bench. Trigpointers will be interested in reaching the trig pillar a short distance away, although achieving that is not as easy as it looks.
