St Mary the Virgin Parish Church Micklefield The church was opened in 1861 on the site of the Chapel at Ease (demolished in 1860).A new Micklefield Parish was created in 1861. The church was built and paid for by Thomas Davison Bland at a cost of £1,110, using stone from a local limestone quarry.
