This hidden gem is called the Tom Riach Boulder, large glacial erratic composed of a solid conglomerate. It provides good fingery problems with some excellent landings and generally friendly top outs. The problems are open to variations because of the nature of the rock.
Climbers have been bouldering at this location for many years as it was surrounded by a forest and very secluded. Due to the deforesting that has taken place in the last few months, this boulder is now highly visible from the roadside and no longer a "hidden" gem.
