The cache is located near to a bridge on Well Lane over looking the extremely overgrown railway. There are places to park so you are able to carry out a drive by. You are looking for a small tub with room for a log, small swaps and FTF badge.
At this location the line merged from a double track to a single before continuing on down the hill to West Cheshire Junction. The line was heavily used by freight traffic from Birkenhead Docks, Ellesmere Port, Stanlow and Ince & Elton industrial locations. But all that was lost overnight following a fire in West Cheshire signal box in September 1991 and the route was closed and consigned to the history books.
