Geocache Description:

For the story behind Pimp my Pump crew, all references, info, water pumps, and projects check Pimp my Pump: The Headquarters geocache, all the PmP news and a complete list of all pimped pumps will be there, up to date. Also, paint on the pumps, and especially on the floor, unfortunately deteriorates with time, so the pumps can be rather different looking than their pictures in the listing...

EN: This old pump, located in the courtyard between the buildings, has been repainted as Lotrščak tower, which is one of the symbols of Zagreb. You can find the tower at Gradec (Upper Town), near the former small town gate Dverce on Strossmayer promenade. Together with the Kamenita Vrata (Stone Gate) and Popov Toranj is presently considered to be the best preserved building of the ancient city defense systems.
With its foursquare layout, structure of the walls and proportions, it is definitely a Romanesque fortification object which after finishing its defensive function, has been adjusted to the needs of different times. The tower is 19 meters high , roofing 5m, and the dome 6m with total of 30 meters. Inside the tower there is a “Grič Cannon”, which is fired every day at noon. At the top, there is a dome with a gazebo and a nice view.

On the pump itself, we can see realistically painted windows and metal ornaments in the shape of the letter " X", and these are exactly the things you need to calculate the position of the final cache. Walk around the pump and count black painted doors and windows (value Y), as well as decorations in the form of the letter " X " (value X) and put the numbers in the formula for the final coordinates. Double windows count as TWO.
You can get to the courtyard entrance through all the big gateways on the south and the north side, also from the terrace of restaurant Medvedgrad (entrance from Ilica street)

Za priču o Pimp my Pump ekipi, reference, informacije, ofarbane gradske pumpe, i ostale projekte provjerite Pimp my Pump: The Headquarters geocache, sve PmP vijesti te kompletna recentna lista spimpanih pumpi će biti tamo.
