Jetzt erobert unser Hobby noch das Weltall. Am 6. November 2013 startet der Astronaut Rick Mastracchio mit dem TB TB5JJN1 in den Weltall, um zur ISS zu fliegen. In der Raumstation möchte er u.a. einen FTF beim dortigen Cache http://coord.info/GC1BE91 machen. Dieser wurde in der ISS bereits am 14.10.2008 'versteckt'.
Zur Feier dieser Aktion erhält jeder Cacher, der heute an einem Event teilnimmt, von Groundspeak ein Souvenir (siehe Foto). Unser Event zur Würdigung dieser tollen Geocaching-Mission in den Weltraum findet im Rahmen eines kurzen "Meet and Greet"-Events 'open air' (aber überdacht!) statt. Natürlich ist Zeit zum Discovern und Tauschen von TBs und Coins.
