**There is no need to go into the cemetery to access this cache**

St Michael's Cemetery served a colonial population and today is an eight- acre green space in the heart of urban, historic Pensacola, Florida. It is one of the two oldest cemeteries in the state of Florida and reflects the social history of the community it is associated with. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is an official project of Save America’s Treasures, a historic preservation initiative administered by the National Park Service.

Historical research and early maps indicate that the land in and around this cemetery was in use beginning in the mid to late 18th century, however, the earliest can be associated with Pensacola’s Second Spanish Period (1781-1821). It is an open-air museum that is a testament to the diverse history of Pensacola.
