Otok Veslača (Rowers Island)
Jezero Jarun je sportsko-rekreacijski centar, a sastoji se od dva povezana jezera – Velikog i Malog, a okružuje ih asfaltirana staza pogodna za šetnje i rekreativnu vožnju biciklima ili rolama. Jezera su pogodna za kupanje. Plaža je šljunčana. Jezero Jarun se također sastoji od otoka: Otok Univerzijade, Otok Trešnjevka, Otok Hrvatske Mladeži, Otok Veslača, Otok Divljine i Otok ljubavi. Jezero Jarun je također prozvan Zagrebačkim morem. Čistoću vode i plaža na jezeru potvrđuje čak pet plavih zastava.
Otok Veslača nalazi se na istočnom dijelu Jezera Jarun te je s kopnom povezan mostom. Njegova dužina iznosi 500 metara te ga cijelim putem prati veslačka regatna staza dužine 2 kilometra. Jedina cesta koja se proteže otokom ima uređenu pješačku i biciklističku stazu koja se pruža do kraja otoka i nazad.
Lake Jarun is a sports and recreation center consists of two connected lakes - Great and Small, surrounded by paved trails suitable for walking and recreational cycling or roller skates. The lakes are suitable for swimming. The beach is pebbly. Lake Jarun consists of islands: Otok Univerzijade (Island Universiade), Otok Trešnjevka (Tresnjevka Island), Otok Hrvatske mladeži (Croatian Youth Island), Otok Veslaca (Rowers Island), Otok divljine (Island Wildlife) and Otok ljubavi (Island of Love). Lake Jarun is also called Zagreb sea. The purity of the water and beach lake confirms five blue flags.
Rowers Island is located on the eastern part of the lake Jarun and it is connected to land by a bridge. Its length is 500 meters and it fallows all the way rowing regatta course length of 2 kilometers. The only road that runs along the island has a pedestrian and bicycle path that stretches to the end of the island and back.
