In early November 2013 astronaut Rick Mastracchio will deliver a Travel Bug® to the International Space Station.
Every geocacher who attends a Geocaching Event on November 6 or 7, 2013 will be awarded a “Geocaching in Space” souvenir.
This special event is being held by the Manassas and Woodbridge Area Geocachers as an option for Northern VA residents to pick up a smiley and souvenir in honor of this space flight.
Other events will be held throughout our area during the 6th and 7th. So far the below event caches have been posted;

November 7th - Geocaching in Space - A Photo Op Event (GC4PWAN)
This event is designed to provide a venue geographically between the existing events, and at a time frame well after standard work hours.
Don't worry if you have to come late or leave early. This special event is designed to celebrate geocaching and the spirit of adventure. Seasoned cachers and those brand new to the sport are equally welcome.
