Proč se otáčí jednou doprava a jednou doleva?
Směr otáčení vodního víru bývá dáván obvykle do souvislosti s vlivem uchylující síly zemské rotace, tzv. Coriolisovy síly.
Ta stáčí pohybující se částice na severní polokouli doprava (ve směru hodinových ručiček) a na jižní doleva (proti směru hodinových ručiček). O tom, že toto pravidlo někdy při vypouštění umyvadla neplatí, že jednou se voda ve víru stáčí doprava, někdy doleva, a to i na jedné polokouli, se přesvědčila řada z nás.
Působení Coriolisovy síly je totiž o několik řádů menší než jiné vlivy, vyvolané třeba tvarem nádoby a vypouštěcího otvoru nebo neznatelným udělením počátečního směru proudění při vypouštění nádoby.
Na Zeměkouli se jakákoliv hmota díky rotaci Země, pohybující se ve směru poledníků, odklání na severní polokouli doprava, na jižní polokouli pak doleva. Coriolisova síla je pojmenována po Gustavu Gaspardu de Coriolisovi, který se silami v rotujících soustavách zabýval.

Keš naleznete tehdy, pokud přesně na úvodních souřadnicích vytáhnete na dně oceánu špunt a tam, kde na druhé straně zeměkoule vytryskne voda, tam bude ležet krabička, kterou vodní vír vyplavil z oceánu!

Why the vortex would rotates once to the left and second to the right side?
The direction of the vortex would is usually associated with the invoking force of Earth's rotation, so called Coriolis effect.
It turns moving particles on the northern hemisphere to the right (clockwise) and on the southern hemisphere to the left (counterclockwise). But this rule doesn´t work every time, and everyone could see it personally (for example when you drain the basin – it is possible that the water once rotates to the left and secondly to the right, even if you at the same hemisphere.
The influence of Coriolis effect is several orders lower the others impacts caused by the shape of container and the drain opening or other.
On The Earth is any mass moving in the direction of meridians, diverted on the northern hemisphere to the right and on the southern hemisphere to the left, due to the Earth´s rotation. The Coriolis effect was named after Gustav Coriolis, who dealt with forces in rotating frames.

You will find the cache when you pull the stopper from the ocean floor at the original coordinates. On the other side of the Earth, where the water from ocean will erupt, there´s hidden a small box, which the ocean brought out!
