The road through the Knorrit State Forest is quite good until you get to about 2 kilometres to the North of the cache, (on West Boundary Road) where there is quite a steep section where 4wd comes into play when you take the right-hand track. Otherwise toss in the mountain bike and enjoy the ride.
Not quite as high as Dingo Peak, Pinanpinga is about 710 m high. Being surrounded by State Forest means that until there is some logging there is limited views, but you will have some along the way. A two wheel drive car would suffice unless there has been recent rain. The best route is in from the North off Knodingul Road.
