The Coign Church began life as Woking Baptist Church in 1928, and originally met in Percy Street in the town centre. When the town centre was developed in 1975, The Baptist Chapel in Percy Street was demolished to become part of Victoria Way, and the Church moved to their current building and Changed their name to The Coign Church.
