Whether you drive a 4X4 stock classic or a custom modded, monster-wheel, mud-thumper, here's your chance to show it off. The group will gather at 8am on Friday, 10/25/13, to compare snorkel sizes and swap stories. One topic of discussion will be roads less traveled within the forest. Non-4X4 vehicles are welcome to admire these money-pits, but probably should avoid participation in the parade that follows.
Participants are encouraged to arrive in the area early if they want to grab a full meal. Breakfast is available across the street at the cafe (opens at 7am) or can be purchased at the nearby sub-making, gas-giving establishment. A small grocery which also has gas is located at the show & shine's location.
By 9am, vehicles will follow the leader in a grand 4WD parade down forest trails. No need to bring candy to throw to kiddies; bears, deer, and turkeys are more likely to inhabit this route. Custom pin-stripping & dirt patinas are expected. Here's hoping for lots of smiles of the mega-star variety.
