Geocache Description:

The West End Walk is as the name suggests a walk in the Western end of Bundoran Town. This short but beautiful walk takes you along some of the cliffs in Bundoran, looking out onto the Atlantic Ocean and across Donegal Bay towards Slieve League.

Down below the walk, is the tidal filled sea-water swinning pool called the "West End Pool" and also an unusual overhanging rock formation called the "Lion's Paw". This is of course not even mentioning the beautiful view back towards Bundoran itself, often even more attractive with the town lights at night.

The cache is a small film canister well concealed. There is no room for trackables or a pen. You will have to be stealthy here as this is a very popular walk and there will be plenty of muggles around, especially at weekends!

No matter where your GPS is leading you, DO NOT cross the steel fence to reach the cache!!! You DO NOT need to!!! I realise this is a bit of a spoiler to some, but it has to be said as we don't want anyone falling off the cliff!

Wheelchair access on paved path to within 3 metres of the cache, then a short piece of grass with no kerb must be crossed. This might be difficult for people in wheelchairs alone.
