Fantasy fiction is filled with references to dark and dangerous forests. There is the dark forest, haunted forest, fire swamp (which is really a forest with quicksand and ROUS's), evil forest, Mirkwood, Fangorn Forest, Old Forest, etc.
The Harry Potter series has the "Forbidden Forest" which contains many dangerous creatures. Ironically, Harry Potter enters this forest in every book. While traditionally these forests are depicted as dark and depressing, one wonders if this depends more on the day and weather than the trees actually being dark and evil (although, it is hard to ever imagine the Huorn forest feeling safe).
Forbidden Forest is hidden at the top of Landmark Mountain. Use the waypoints for parking, then climb up the hill. It is hidden at the south end in a group of rocks, and should be easy to find. It is on top, at the southeastern edge.
This is a letterbox hybrid. In addition to the normal logbook and trade items, it also contains a letterbox stamp, inkpad, and stamp book. Please do not remove the stamp, ink pad, or stamp book. THEY ARE NOT TRADE ITEMS!
