This cache contains novels. If you wish you may bring along a novel of your own to exchange for one of the books in the library. The library is currently a 50cal ammo can, so pocket books would work best.
The library exists in the front yard of 325 Eastover Circle in Lenoir NC. It is the only house with a screen porch. It is my front yard, and the neighbours are aware of the cache. Feel free to park at the curb. The library is only open during daylight hours, so please refrain from hunting this one at night.
If you have a book to trade that will not fit, please drop it by the door in the carport and note it in the log.
There is also an FTF prize containing a security whistle, an unactivated Groundspeak travel bug, and my personal pathtag.
The library will remain locked at all times. To access the library you need to read the following story to learn how to access it. Once you have the code, squeeze the cables together to open the lock. Good luck!

The Story So Far:
During the Last Great Time War the planet of the Time Lords, Gallifrey, burned and boiled away into space along with most of the Time Lords themselves. The Great Library of Gallifrey, and all of its contents, was subsequently lost to the ages. The destruction of this vast and great storehouse of all history was complete and total...
... except for one thing.
The Master, an evil Time Lord long since exiled from the planet, broke into the library just before Gallifrey was lost, and stole a vital piece of the library: A locked box containing the ancient scrolls of Gallifrey. The location of the box remains unknown, a mystery for the ages. Its memory has faded into the mists of myth and legend. Forgotten to all but the last of the Time Lords, a man known only as The Doctor.
The Doctor has been searching for the missing scrolls ever since the end of the Time War. During his exploration through the entirety of time and space, he has gathered these facts:
- The scrolls are in a box hidden somewhere on the planet earth, at the beginning of what the local inhabitants call the 21st century.
- The key to the box is hidden somewhere inside the TARDIS, a time machine that looks like a blue british police box that is larger on the inside.
- The number 512 keeps haunting The Doctors thoughts, following him everywhere he goes. He suspects this may be the secret to getting access to the key.
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to play the part of The Doctor as he goes on the last stage of his greatest mission. You must find and enter the TARDIS, retrieve the key, defeat The Master, and locate the lost scrolls from the Library of Gallifrey. Only then will the memories of your people be restored to the Universe.
Failure is not an option. Allons-y!
