If you are looking to take a swim, North Waldo Campground is the place to be. Take the trail starting at the boat ramp and follow it down the East Ridge to access the largest beach at Waldo Lake. Enjoy the crystal clear water of one of the purest natural lakes in the world. On a sunny day you can see down up to 120 feet.
