Willamette Oaks Traditional Geocache

This is an easy stroll and cache, suitable for folks of all abilities. Keep a sharp eye out for osprey and eagles. They hunt this section of river frequently. Also, watch out for muggles and Canada geese. The area is teeming with both.

Our Willamette Oaks geocache team has been hunting since January 2012. We have become addicted to geotouring this summer, enjoying treks up the McKenzie and along the coast. This is our first hosted cache, and our entire community is looking forward to reading your logs. We've been nestled along this gorgeous stretch of river since 1986 and we love to share stories and history. If you have a tale of connection to our community, please feel free to share. We plan to release lots of trackables, so check back in on the cache.
