A clip lock container
The Babcary Bounce is a walk of 33 caches along footpaths, bridleways and a short stretch of quiet road, starting in Babcary across the fields to Foddington and then back. The distance is 5.5 miles and should take around 3 hours at a steady pace.
After cache 03 you can either cross a small ford or take the footpath to the right, and after cache 16 follow into the field rather than down the track, other than that the route should be straight forward, some parts may be a little overgrown and rutted due to plenty of horse traffic.
When set it had been raining the day before and parts were muddy, as with most rural walks good boots or wellies would be an advantage during wet ground conditions, there are a number of stiles to cross, only one short field had evidence of cattle after cache 03 when avoiding the ford.
There are a varied selection of container types with opportunities to drop off trackables.
All caches are hidden to be found so you can enjoy the walk, i visit the area regularly but should you find a damp/wet log or even a container missing i am more than happy for it to be replaced should you carry spares prior to my next visit.
