Passport to the Gold Trail
Join us on June 28th for another exciting Gold Country experience! There will be entertainment, games, and a wagon load of family fun to enjoy. The Gold Country Passport to the Gold Trail will be a gold rush theme, with fun and adventure all along the way as you explore historical and cultural routes and trails. Post your "Will Attend" on this page and watch for updates that will be posted here. This will be a 4 day event with the journey beginning in Cache Creek and ending in Clinton. Come for one or all of these eventful days! There will be new caches and points of interest to be found all over Gold Country!
The event will start at 9:00am under the dome at the Cache Creek Park. Attendees will check in, receive registration bags and then have GPS's loaded with the new geocaches. Vendors and entertainment will be set up for your enjoyment! Chris the Clown will be performing for all of the young and young at heart!
At 10:00am we will all pose for a group photo.
At noon we will meet to enjoy a picnic lunch in the park. Please bring your own lunch and chairs.
Need to cool off? The pool will be open from 12:30pm-4:30pm and from 6:00pm-9:00pm. Swimming is FREE!
Those 19 and older will meet up again from 6:30pm to 7:30pm at the Bonaparte Bend Winery to enjoy a wine tasting of their famous fruit wines and some cheese, crackers and fruit. There will be a charge of $5.00 per person maximum. The wine tasting event has reached maximum capacity.
We are encouraging the people that would like to meet up in the evening to attend a secondary satellite event at the Bear Claw Lodge starting from 6:30pm to 8:00pm.
