Geocache Description:

The 125th in a series of caches where a red telephone box is in close proximity to a post box. The only rule is that they have to be able to be photographed together, and the phone boxes have to be red.

A "Fine Pair" was an idea that the Heidi Seekers saw down in Sussex; anyone can add to the series. The rule is that the cache must be near to or involve a red phone box that is within sight of a post box. If you can take a picture with both boxes in it and upload to the cache page when setting/finding then that would be great. Any type of cache can be set, the more variety the better.

There are over 90 “Fine Pair” caches in the country (see this list) and they are numbered according to the area but this is the second “Fine Pair” cache in Wirral.

This “Fine Pair” cache is located in the lovely village of Backford, which isn’t far from Chester.

The cache is a simple drive-by and shouldn't take you more than a few seconds. It’s also wheelchair accessible and a generally easy find. Good luck and as an optional extra, why not take a picture of the “Fine Pair” with the cache in the middle?

The Fine Pair series was originally started by wizardsmum.

If anybody would like to place 'A Fine Pair' of their own please do, I would just ask that you let mattd2k know first so he can keep track of the numbers and names to avoid duplication.

He also keeps a public Bookmark List of this series so once your cache is published please contact him via his profile page to have yours added.
