Geocache Description:

It's the holidays, and time to give back a little to the places that support geocaching. We'll do this today at 4:30 p.m. with a CITO for the park.

Bay Area Park has several caches, and sports baseball and softball fields, tennis courts, playground equipment, a garden area, a boat launch, a large, treed and shaded dog park (separate areas for little dogs and all dogs), and a scout area. It even has a nice, long observation deck / boardwalk area out over the water.

This event is open to everyone, and you're welcome to CITO in the park wherever you wish. Bring your gloves and reachers and come join the fun!

Afterward, hang around a while. Maybe you'll see a parade lighting up the bayou.
