The parish of Feltwell is large in extent and the roads form a figure of eight. At the centre of the figure you will find the church of St Mary the Virgin.
The oldest part of the building is the chancel, which is in the decorated style of architecture (1275 - 1375) and confirms that the church is over 600 years old.
You can also find out about St. Mary's Church on the village's extensive website. Try starting on the St. Mary's 'loop' http://feltwell.net/feltwell2/written/churches_history.htm#stmary
While you are here, you could also take a photograph and log your find on www.waymarking.com as the church and nearby war memorial are featured on the site.
