The church of St. Nicholas, Feltwell was declared redundant in the early 1970s. It is now in the care of the Churches Conservation Trust.
The church was considerably extended during the medieval period with aisles and a clerestory, but since that time the tower has fallen and the chancel has vanished completely.

The cache is not hidden on church property, but on the green close by. Please do not park on the green. A pair of tweezers would be useful to help you retrieve the log. The church is kept unlocked and is worth a visit while you are there.
While you are here, you could also take a photograph and log your find on www.waymarking.com as the church is also a waymark WMJH24 and WMJA61.
If you haven't tried waymarking, you may be interested to know that are already a member through your geocaching account and your login details are the same.
Since the original cache has gone missing, I have temporarily replaced it with an alternative container while I am waiting to be granted permission to place it on the church grounds.
