Hallelujah! It's Another Holiday Music Puzzle! Mystery Cache

There is nothing hidden at the posted coordinates, but you might want to park near there. You must solve the puzzle to learn the location of the cache. The area was a bit muddy when the cache was hidden, and could become a slight bushwhack in spring or summer. Cache is stocked with a little holiday-themed swag; FTF may take their choice of swag without trade. Please keep an eye out for muggles and rehide the cache as well or better than you found it. Note that this cache is NOT available at night.

The December holiday music puzzles we created to culminate our year-long monthly puzzle series in 2011 and 2012 were some of our favorites, and even though we didn't continue the series this year we thought it would be fun to continue this part of the tradition.

"Messiah" is an English-language oratorio composed in 1741 by George Frideric Handel, with a scriptural text compiled by Charles Jennens from the King James Bible, and from the Psalms included with the Book of Common Prayer. It was first performed in Dublin on 13 April 1742 and received its London premiere nearly a year later. While only a portion could strictly be considered Christmas music, it is often performed in its entirety this time of year. There are many formats in which it the music can be performed, both formal and informal ... some of our favorites include performance of certain choruses as a "random act of culture," and the "do it yourself Messiah," in which the audience sings along.
