The 12th Annual International Cache In Trash Out (CITO) Weekend is scheduled for April 26 and 27, 2014. Geocachers around the world celebrate the weekend by participating at CITO events in their local area. To help with the celebration, Berks Explorers Seeking Tupperware (aka BEST) is sponsoring a CITO event at Blue Marsh Lake.
BEST is one of the proud sponsors of the Blue Marsh Lake trail, responsible for the section between mile markers 18 and 19. Come join us at mile marker 18 for our first ever CITO event. Bring items (trash bags, pruning shears, gloves, etc.) needed to help with the clean-up of our section of the trail.
Also, everyone who logs an “Attended” at a CITO event during the International event dates will earn a special CITO souvenir for their Geocaching.com profile. Blue Marsh will also be serving the volunteers hotdogs and drinks up at Lot D at 11:30 am. Head on over after the event for some food and geo-chatting.
