This cache has been archived.

OReviewer: As there's been no cache to find for a long time or has had no owner response for at least 30 days, I'm archiving it to keep it from showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

Please note that if geocaches are archived by a reviewer or Geocaching HQ for lack of maintenance, they are not eligible for unarchival.

Geocache Description:

Cubism

This cache is NOT at the listed coordinates!

Cubism was a revolutionary art movement that began in the early 20th century that drew on two distinct traditions. The first was impressionism, especially the work of Paul Cezanne, that depicted the human form from multiple perspectives simultaneously. The other was the European fascination with “primitive” art from Africa and other parts of the world. This began with the display and auction of the fantastic bronzes of the Benin empire, which were brought to Europe as war loot by British members of the 1897 Benin Punitive Expedition.

To find this cache, identify the three famous cubist paintings pictured here. Place the names of their painters (with capitals) and the date of the painting together, without spaces, in order. (Example: Velasquez1656Tintoretto1594Bosch1482)

Putting the correct combination into Certitude will give you the location of the cache, which is on the Bucknell University campus. Good luck!
