Pi Pie 3.141592653 Event Cache

This cache has been archived.

Wizard of Ooze: Hi,

It looks like everyone had a good time and your event was a success.

The geocaching.com guidelines request that event hosts archive their listing a month after the event has passed so it doesn't continue to show up on local pocket queries. I've archived your event listing -- in the future, please keep in mind that it helps to keep local events up to date and saves reviewer's volunteer time if you archive the event yourself!

Thanks for your contributions to BC geocaching,

Wizard of Ooze, volunteer reviewer

Geocache Description:

March 14th is sometimes thought of as PI Day, since its 3/14...the first 3 digits of the famous (if often misunderstood) 3.141592653 - PI. Lets gather and possibly have some pie on PI day.

Where: The monument at Burnaby Foreshore park
When: 3/14/15 from 9am to 10 am
Why: Pie on PI day
What to bring: Optionally you may bring pie, your own plate and utensil (Not required)

I will bring some pie, plates and forks for a limited number of people to have pie with. If you would like to bring a pie to share, please feel free however this is optional.

The event will be better with MORE PI! err.. PIE!

Please bring a plate and utensil to avoid so much product in the bin. Also bring your TB's, tags, and "Other Geocaching tradable items" to trade and display.

At 9:26:53am we will jump for the happiness that the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter brings us on a daily basis.
