This Cache:
This is the story of A Square. A Square lives in the two-dimensional world of Flatland.
Flatland
In Flatland, women are line segments and men are polygons, whose social caste is determined by their number of sides.
One night, A Square has a dream of another world – Lineland, a one-dimensional world where men are lines and women are points. A Square meets the King of Lineland, but when he tries to explain who (and what) he is, the King scoffs; all he sees is another point. After all, who's ever heard of a second dimension anyway?
Lineland
Later that night, A Square gets a visit from a point... no, wait, a circle... that keeps getting bigger... then shrinks?
A point? A circle? A sphere
A Square is skeptical, to say the least, of what he just saw. That is, until the visitor lifts him out of Flatland and into the three-dimensional world of Spaceland. The visitor reveals himself to be a sphere, and shows A Square the wonders of the third dimension and life in Spaceland. The visit is cut short when A Square posits the existence of a world even greater than Spaceland, which makes the sphere very angry and he throws A Square back into Flatland. After all, who's ever heard of a fourth dimension anyway?
A Square wakes up in his bedroom in Flatland, unable to contain his amazement. Could it be that Spaceland actually exists? He races out of his house to tell all his friends of the wondrous land he visited. Unfortunately, the leaders of Flatland don't like their workers preaching such heresy; so much that speaking of Spaceland is punishable by imprisonment or even death. After all, who's ever heard of a third dimension anyway?
This is where you come in. Begin your journey in Pointland. Make your way across Lineland until you arrive in Flatland. That, of course, is where you'll find A Square, who will guide you to Spaceland. Can you find the third dimension and save A Square from a life sentence?

This cache is part of the SPACE 2081: A Geocaching Odyssey challenge.
This challenge contains one cache of each difficulty and terrain combination, plus a final cache which can be found only after finding all 81 caches that are part of the series. Each of those 81 caches will contain a code, which you will use as part of the puzzle to solve the FINAL CACHE.
