Please note the Cache is NOT located in the church grounds. Also there is no need to leave the main road. GPS Signal is +/- 5m.

This is a construction site!.

Hello, welcome to our third cache and first in the Rogerstone area.

This is now a Historical Cache on The Site of what was the Old Tydu Boys' School so has been made a premium cache for the final few months.

Please note: Demolition is now completed.

The cache is located down the road from the old school near the church and library as we couldn't place it near the school due to other caches in the area.

The Schools log book started all the way back in 1889 and the last admission register was recorded in 1958.

The School was then re-named Rogerstone Primary and girls were then permitted to join the school.

The school then closed and later sold. It was bought by Dudley's and turned into Tydu Works carrying out shopfitting and other small construction projects. Unfortunately earlier this year the firm folded and went into liquidation.

The site is now to be turned into housing for Seren group to develop it into affordable housing.

The cache itself is a key safe with a log and pencil with stash card and can be found by having a cache and dash or a park and grab whilst having a little walk around the area.

Please note the Cache is NOT located in the church grounds, please do not enter the yard as no permission for this has been obtained. Also there is no need to leave the main road. GPS Signal is +/- 5/10m in this area so the hint will be useful.

Small Trackables can be placed in the cache.

3 Parking areas have been provided in additional way-points. Remember to check for closing times of the Welfare Grounds car-park.
