Geocache Description:

A small cache that will be able to take some swaps / TB's.

This cache is placed on the edge of the grounds of St Michaels and All Angels church.  It is one of 7 church's in the East Bristol Partnerships.  It's a church that sees many families coming for baptism.

Just to reassure all you cachers, I have permission from the vicar to have placed the cache.

A Brief History

The church was built in 1848 (architect S.B.Gabriel) - and hasn't been changed very much.  The top of the tower, originally with a low pyramidal cap, now sports a plain parapet, an embellishment by the architect P.Hartland Thomas, 1939.

The church consists of a low west tower, nave with five-bayed north aisle and north porch, and chancel with a vestry on the south.

There isn't as much history available at the moment - but will see what more I can find and add to this soon.
