Geocache Description:

A magnetic 35mm pot


Independent Chapel, now Baptist Chapel. 1801, rebuilt 1810. Limestone rubble, ashlar quoins, slate roof. "T"-shaped on plan. 2-storey, 4-bays, 16-light sashes in cambered-head architraves with relieving arches over. Corner pilasters. Shaped gable with coping, base for finial. 6-window returns with similar fenestration, one semi-circular arched door opening to each side, 4-panelled doors. Complete mid-C19 galleried interior.
