This series is a walk of approximately 4 miles on a public footpath circling an active sandpit. Parking for a couple of cars near the cache named "ICT" A couple of the fields had cattle in last year but at the time of setting these were empty. A couple of stiles and bridges are involved plus a walk alongside an unfenced river so please keep an eye on any children with you. 2 caches are now inaccessible so I've added replacements. Brand new gravelled path from "Mighty" to "Sentinel 2" but this is about the only bit which is pushchair friendly. There is one section of wide track between "Mighty" and "Ladder" which is not an official footpath but we always use this because it parallels a very busy road, there shouldn't be a problem and there are no caches on this section.
As the original Green Door is now inside an area destined to be an extension of the Sandpit itself I've replaced it with this one.
