The World's First Cooperative Power Trail #-18 Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

GeoWyrm: In light of the news that most of this whole stretch of trail has been removed, we decided to archive instead of replacing as it. After much deliberation, we decided it wasn't fair to ask our favourite local cachers to replace an entire section of trail for us. Thank you to all who visited, and special thanks to Ma and Pa B for all the help over the years replacing full logs and the occasional container. Hopefully it isn't long before someone snaps up this section of the famous Cooperative Power Trail and puts out some new caches.

Geocache Description:

The first cooperative Power Trail of its kind! Feel free to add to it!

This cache Power Trail started as "The World's Smallest Power Trail, but I decided to change its purpose...

This is a cooperative power trail where anyone can add to it and keep it going. Feel free to add your own cache to the end of the trail, as long as it's within the guidelines. Caches that are destined to become part of the trail should be named accordingly. It is not necessary to place a cache for this project in order to log any of the caches in the series. Lets see how long we can keep this going.

Some important things to recognize when venturing out to do this series:

*Start with low numbered cache & work towards higher numbered cache.
*Make sure you have plenty of water.
*Cell reception out here is great so count on having phone service.
*Make sure someone knows where you are heading.
*Make sure you keep a full tank of gas (closest gas stations are on Rochdale Blvd).
*Make sure you have a good spare tire.
*Be careful! This road isn't very busy but still well traveled. Watch for and yield to oncoming traffic.
*Pull completely off the roadway. (All tires to the right of the road)
*Driving with your Hazard Lights on will help others see you.
*Probably not a good series to have small kids or pets roaming around.
*This area is OPEN RANGE, there are gophers on the road and they have the right of way.
*If traveling at night, watch your speed and don't over do it.
*Have fun!

All good cachers will always carry a writing implement and also replace the cache "exactly" where they found it!
