I Frödings fotspår: Vackert väder
[SWE] ”Brunskogs kyrka stod och lyste som en bondbrud, grann och ny” diktar Gustaf Fröding i ”Vackert väder”. Där möter berättaren tio flickor i en båt ute på sjön Wermeln, däribland fröken Alice. I verkligheten hette denna flicka som Gustaf var mycket förälskad i, Hildegard Alstermark och hon var dotter till majoren på herrgården Berga.
[ENG] "Brunskog´s church stood and shone like a farmers bride, magnificent and new" wrote Gustaf Fröding in the poem "Beautiful weather." In it the narrator meets ten girls in a boat out on the lake Wermeln, including miss Alice. In reality the name of this girl, whom Gustaf was very much in love with, was Hildegard Alstermark and she was the daughter of the major at the mansion Berga.
