The Tredegar Trim Trail Traditional Geocache

This is a short walk in Tredegar Park up to the life trails which have recently been all moved next to each other. This can be a cache and dash but can also be found whilst running, cycling or walking through the tunnel into the old golf course.

Hello, and welcome to the second cache in the Rogerstone Scouts series.

This Cache is in Season and is only available for premium members. The park is very busy most days so stealth will be required.

The cache is place in the popular Tredegar Recreational Grounds. The park has many activities including a new skateboard park, Crazy golf, play park, tennis courts, water zone (summer months only 11am - 4pm) and the life-fitness trail.

This cache is situated up the path from the car park (additional co-ordinates for this are available) past the skateboard park and onto the life-fitness trails. Access can also be gained by going through the old golf course and under the bridge into Tredegar park. As previously said the cache can be completed as a cache and dash or as a day out at the park.

The river along side the park has had flood defence protection recenently, therefore some of the grass is closed. The multi cache located in the park is now accessible as some barriers have gone down. (GC3DQ6A)

Please note this is a premium cache at this time due to it is in season where more stealth is required.

The time scale for this to be a Premium Cache is from the 1st April - 30th September. Out of this time the cache will be available to ALL.
