Viesītes autoosta Traditional Geocache

[LAT] Viesīte – mazpilsēta Sēlijas novada sirdī, savdabīga, klusa, viesiem draudzīga. Pazīstama kā Latvijas „Sakārtotākā pilsēta 2002”, lepojas ar lielāko Kultūras pili Latvijas laukos, Mazo Bānīti un lielāko bagātību- saviem iedzīvotājiem.

Viesīte kā apdzīvota vieta ar nosaukumu Eķengrāve (arī Āžu miests) izveidojusies ap 1890.g. pie Āžu kroga (celts 19.gs. 30.gados) uz bijušās Eķengrāves muižas zemes, kas vēstures avotos minēta jau 16.gs. beigās.

[ENG] Viesīte – a small, peculiar, quiet and friendly town in the heart of Selia. Known as Latvia’s „Cleanest city 2002" boasts with the largest Palace of Culture in the Latvian countryside, narrow gauge railway and the greatest wealth-its people.

Viesīte as a village by the name Eķengrāve (including Azu village) developed around 1890 around Azu inn (built in the 30s of the 19th century) on the land of the former Eķengrāve manor that was there as early as 16th century as mentioned in historical sources.

[LAT] Kā jau jebkurā mazpilsētā, arī šeit viena no galvenajām pilsētas vietām ir autoosta, kas šeit izpaužas vairāk kā pasažieru uzgaidāmā telpa. Ja reiz esi nonācis šai pusē un līdz transportam ir vēl kāds laiciņš jāuzgaida, tad iesaku lēnā solī doties pāri ielai, tieši uz pretī esošo akmens palīgēku, kur starp akmeņiem tevi sagaidīs maza kastīte.

Slēpnis atrodas ļoti publiskā vietā un, kā jau laukos, apkārt vienmēr ir visu redzoši vietējie, tāpēc esi ļoti uzmanīgs!

[ENG] As in any small town, one of the city's major attractions is the bus station, which here is more like a passenger waiting room. If you have found yourself here and you have to wait for the buss, come to the other side of the road straight to the small building, where between the stones you will be greeted by a small box.

The cache is in a very public place and, as in the countryside, surrounded by the all seeing eyes of the locals, so be very careful!
