Kościół św. Elżbiety w Trybszu powstał zapewne w 1567 r. Jest to budowla wzniesiona w konstrukcji zrębowej, ściany pokryte są gontem i wzmocnione lisicami. Podczas prac remontowych w 1924 r. rozebrano izbicową wieżę i zakrystię. Wewnątrz na ścianach i stropach znajduje się późnobarokowa polichromia z 1647 r. przedstawiająca wyobrażenia świętych. Na uwagę zasługuje scena Wniebowzięcia i Koronacji Matki Boskiej na stropie prezbiterium, namalowana na tle Panoramy Tatr. Z dawnego wyposażenie zachowało się niewiele zabytków, większość została przeniesiona do nowego, murowanego kościoła parafialnego. Ostatnio kościółek został gruntownie ondowiony. Bardzo proszę o dokładne i ostrożne odkładanie kesza.

St. Elizabeth’s Church in Trybsz probably arose in 1567. It was built using log construction with the walls shingled and strengthened by interlocking planking. During repair work in 1924 the bell-house spire and sacristy were dismantled. The interior walls and ceilings have late-baroque polychrome decoration from 1647, with depictions of the saints. Also noteworthy are the Assumption and Coronation of Our Lady on the chancel ceiling, painted against the backdrop of a panorama of the Tatras. Few of the old historical fittings have been preserved, with the majority moved to the new parish church. Lately the church had been completely renovated. Please put the cache back to its place exactly and carefully.

Die Elisabethkirche in Trybsz entstand vermutlich 1567. Sie wurde in Blockbauweise errichtet, ihre Wände sind mit Schindeln verkleidet und von Innen und Außen mit zusammengeschraubten Leisten verstärkt. Bei den Renovierungsarbeiten im Jahre 1924 wurden der Stubenturm und die Sakristei abgetragen. Die Wände und das Innere schmücken spätbarocke Malereien (1647) mit Darstellungen Heiliger. Beachtenswert ist die Szene der Himmelfahrt und der Krönung Mariens an der Decke im Presbyterium mit dem Panorama der Tatra im Hintergrund. Von der ehemaligen Ausstattung hat die Kirche nicht mehr viel zu bieten, da das Meiste in die neue, gemauerte Pfarrkirche verlegt wurde.

L'église Sainte-Elisabeth de Trybsz date probablement de 1567. Construite en bois empilé, ses murs sont recouverts de bardeaux et renforcés de paires de madriers verticaux. Le clocher a encorbellement et la sacristie furent démolis lors des travaux de rénovation en 1924. A l'intérieur, les plafonds et les murs sont ornés de peintures polychromes de style baroque tardif de 1647 figurant des saints. Remarquer, sur le plafond du choeur, l'Assomption et le Couronnement de la Vierge avec un panorama des Tatras en arriere-plan. De l'ancien mobilier de rares objets se sont conservés, la plupart étant transportés dans la nouvelle église paroissiale maçonnée.
