In 2008 my son and I held four events while we traveled our route on a "Spring Break" trip. It was a great way to meet local cachers in cities we passed through. This trip, my son will be attending his junior year of college classes so I'll be flying solo. I would still like to meet some of the local cachers here in Salt Lake City, UT. This trip is to the 2nd International EarthCache Mega-Event. Perhaps some of you will be attending that event too.
I've searched for past events in this area and the venue I've chosen is Leatherby's. Some will know of this place, other may be visiting for the first time.
The event will be on Saturday, August 31, 2013 from 8:00pm to 10:00pm or until the last cacher leaves. They are open to midnight. There will be a few prizes to be raffled off at 9:00pm. All attendees will be responsible for their own food cost. Please state the number that will be in your group so I can be sure we will have enough space reserved with the management. Thank you
