United Reformed Church
The church building is very easy to find as it occupies a triangular site at the corner of Mount Ephraim and Grosvenor Road.
The building was originally St. John’s Free Baptist Church.
It was designed by Herbert Murkin Caley's and built from red brick, stone and slate in a Gothic Revival style at a cost of £7,560.
It was built for a former minister of Emmanuel Church, who seceded after changing his views. It was then sold to the Presbyterian Church and is now United Reform.
