LL Monkey!! Traditional Geocache

Part of the Lazy Leisure series which are a tribute to my Geohound Bud, who in his youth loved the outdoor pursuits, especially the ones where the end results was a nice chunk of kibble (this could be smelt from some distance away and being a hound, he normally attained his prey), now into his dotage he much prefers his leisure pursuits for the comfort of the back of the car, where he can see all the fun but expend none of the energy!
Martial arts, an elegant pursuit, frequently reminded Bud of his favourite TV show from the 70’s – ‘Monkey’, he could often be found with his monkey friends Sandy and Pigsy throwing around a Waza Ari or Yuko !! Caches placed around Kendals leisure facilities where Bud used to plod regularly. The cache is not placed on the property, if you got through the Dojo gate you have gone too far, this is private property and this is often locked when it is shut, permission has been granted to place. If doing the series on foot, parking co-ordinates for LL Double Up are listed, alternatively there is a small industrial estate nearby at the bottom of road or on the road to the second industrial estate on the left or you could try for the quick dash limited parking from the coordinates (as from mid Sept 2013, the area leading up the cache has got some shiny new double yellow lines), please do not block any access roads. Cache is a vial, but due to wet weather is protected by a slightly bigger container, so 2 in 1, you may need tweezers or you can flick repeatedly to release log, bring your own pencil. If you wish to complete the series on foot, parking is available at LL Double Up, from here to LL Get In, is 1.46km approx, so walkable, but be prepared, Kendal is not flat and the walk up to LL Get In is quite steep!! Though the views are worth the climb.
